Lawyer Claims DNA test reveals a young James Brown’s Son

According to a lawyer, a report of DNA confirms that James Brown, James Brown II, six years, son of his companion, Tomi Rae Hynie. The Associated Press reported that Peter Shahid, a lawyer for James Brown II, announced Friday (May 2) that Brown II was tested last month before a court in South Carolina ordered a DNA test of the child within 30 days. No results of that test were officially released.

The directors of Brown’s estate have said Hynie has never been officially married to Brown and that the boy is not Brown’s biological child in spite of its name. Neither Hynie yet the child were seen as beneficiaries in Brown’s Estate. Hynie and Brown’s six adult children against the will.
